Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VizionLyst collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit vizionlyst.com, sign up for updates, use subscription features, connect marketplace accounts, or use related software workflows.
This policy is part of the VizionLyst Terms of Service. By using the website or services, you acknowledge the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you interact with VizionLyst.
Information you provide
- Signup details, including the verified email address used for the account. Public-trial signup does not request a personal name.
- Account information, support information, feedback, and billing-related contact information.
- Password credentials, email verification, recovery, and browser sessions handled by VizionLyst's configured identity provider; VizionLyst receives the verified identity and session information needed to authorize the account.
- Messages, support requests, feedback, and other communications you send to us.
- Uploaded card images, metadata, listing inputs, item specifics, pricing preferences, condition notes, and other content you choose to process through the service.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, and approximate location inferred from technical signals.
- Usage information such as pages viewed, features used, timestamps, request logs, diagnostics, errors, and interaction events.
- Required signed sessions, security logs, and similar technology data used to operate and protect the services.
- Trial-entitlement information such as verified provisioning time, the 14-day deadline, remaining and used sets, eligibility state, denials, and upgrade status.
- If optional analytics is enabled, consent state, pageviews, approved product and funnel interactions, public plan details, analytics identifiers after acceptance, page and referring URLs, browser/device details, IP address, traffic source, and approximate location as described in Section 7.
- If VizionLyst separately enables same-origin analytics, the minimized referral-category, product-action, engagement, and performance events described in Section 7.
Payment and subscription information
Payments, subscriptions, checkout sessions, invoices, and related billing events may be handled by Stripe or another payment processor. VizionLyst does not store full payment card numbers. Payment processors collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Marketplace and third-party platform information
When you connect eBay or another supported marketplace account, we may receive authentication tokens, granted scopes, account identifiers, listing status, marketplace responses, and other information needed to provide the connected workflow. For public-trial eligibility, VizionLyst retains a privacy-preserving, versioned digest of the authenticated eBay seller identity rather than exposing that identity in customer eligibility messages.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve VizionLyst.
- Accept signup submissions and determine eligibility for promotional codes.
- Authenticate users, maintain site-lock sessions, and protect account access.
- Provision the public trial, measure its one-time set usage and deadline, enforce lifetime email/account and eBay seller eligibility, and prevent repeat grants or abuse.
- Generate, review, price, prepare, and support marketplace listing workflows requested by users.
- Connect to eBay and other supported platforms at the user's direction.
- Process subscriptions, checkout sessions, billing events, and plan eligibility.
- Send service, security, legal, billing, support, product, launch, and promotional communications.
- Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, debug errors, and protect the security of the services.
- Measure website performance, understand product usage, and improve marketing campaigns.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
3. Email Communications and Choices
We may send service-related emails such as signup confirmations, promotional-code information, account notices, billing notices, security alerts, support replies, integration status updates, and legal notices. Where permitted by law, we may also send product updates, launch announcements, offers, and similar marketing messages.
You may opt out of marketing emails by using an unsubscribe link when one is provided or by contacting support@vizionlyst.com. Even after an opt-out, we may still send non-marketing messages needed to operate your account, respond to requests, complete transactions, or meet legal obligations.
4. AI Processing and User Content
VizionLyst may process user-submitted photos, metadata, listing inputs, and related content with automated and AI-assisted systems to identify cards, generate listing drafts, suggest pricing, produce item specifics, and support bulk workflows.
- User content is processed to provide and support the services requested by the user.
- User content is not used to train public or third-party AI models.
- We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information to improve reliability, accuracy, abuse prevention, and product performance.
- Generated outputs may be retained for normal service operation, support, audit, troubleshooting, and account history.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted outputs before relying on them for listings, pricing, commercial decisions, or compliance.
5. Data Sharing and Service Providers
We share information only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, improve, market, or comply with legal obligations for VizionLyst. Recipient categories may include:
- Infrastructure, hosting, database, storage, logging, security, and performance providers.
- Email and communication providers used for signup, product, and support messages.
- Analytics service providers used for consent-controlled website and marketing campaign measurement.
- Payment processors such as Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and billing events.
- eBay and other connected marketplaces when you authorize us to transmit listings, images, item details, tokens, or account requests on your behalf.
- Professional advisors, legal authorities, regulators, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal information for money. Analytics service providers process only the measurement described in Section 7 under the website's analytics choices. VizionLyst disables advertising personalization and identity-enrichment features where configurable and does not send contact-form content, account data, or checkout identifiers for analytics.
6. Third-Party Platform Data
VizionLyst integrates with eBay and may integrate with other marketplaces or services. When you connect an account, we collect and store the credentials, tokens, scopes, identifiers, and responses needed to perform authorized actions. We may transmit listing data, images, generated outputs, prices, descriptions, and related content to the connected platform at your direction.
Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You may revoke platform access through that platform's account settings where available. Revocation may limit or disable connected workflows.
7. Cookies, Analytics, and Security Technologies
VizionLyst uses required signed sessions, logs, and similar technologies for website functionality, authentication, security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics. These required technologies are separate from optional website analytics.
The website stores your analytics choice in local storage. Depending on the enabled analytics configuration, limited cookieless pageview measurement may occur before you make a choice and after rejection, with analytics and advertising storage denied. Other optional analytics remains unloaded until you accept. If you accept, analytics storage is granted and first-party analytics cookies may distinguish browsers and sessions. Advertising storage, advertising user data, personalization, and cross-service signals remain denied.
Analytics is limited to sanitized pageviews and approved product and funnel interactions. Pageviews use an allowlisted page path, page title, and a referrer reduced to its origin and path. Approved pricing and checkout measurement includes only the public plan identifier, name, USD price, and currency from VizionLyst's published pricing catalog. Analytics services may process IP addresses at collection time to derive approximate location and may collect page and referring URLs, browser, device, operating-system, language, session, and traffic-source information.
URL query strings and fragments, form names, email addresses, contact messages, account or license data, checkout or payment identifiers, OAuth data, uploaded card content, and confirmed purchase or subscription events are not supplied as analytics event data. Automatic identity enrichment is disabled, and no analytics fallback is used when the website cannot honor the visitor's analytics choice.
Use the "Analytics choices" control in the website footer to accept, reject, or change this choice. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals block optional analytics completely, including cookieless measurement. Rejecting or revoking analytics keeps storage denied, sends revocation instructions where supported, removes accessible analytics cookies, and does not prevent use of the public website or required account and security functions.
VizionLyst's separate same-origin analytics remains disabled unless explicitly activated. If activated, it sends nothing before acceptance, stores only a random per-tab value in session storage, and records allowlisted page, referral-category, product-action, engagement, and Core Web Vital data.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, secure transport, session protections, encryption where appropriate, token handling controls, and operational monitoring. However, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain accounts and signup records, support promotional-code and public-trial eligibility, complete marketplace handoffs, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and maintain backups or audit records.
Unclaimed connection records are designed to expire automatically. Signup records, account data, and connected-service data may be retained longer where needed for service operation, legal compliance, or user-requested account history. Limited public-trial eligibility records for normalized email/account and eBay seller identity may be retained after disconnection, cancellation, or account deletion so the one-trial lifetime rule remains enforceable without revealing another account's history.
Analytics information is retained according to approved service settings and applicable service policies. If VizionLyst's separate same-origin analytics is enabled, minimized event records are retained for no more than 30 days and converted into session-free daily aggregates retained for no more than 13 months. Search-performance imports used for offline reports are processed in memory, and query text is not copied into outputs.
10. Your Privacy Rights Under Applicable Laws
Depending on your state or country of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and similar state privacy laws.
Rights you may have
- Access or confirmation that we process your personal information.
- Correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
- Portability, where the law requires a portable copy.
- Opt-out of targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, sale, or sharing where those terms apply.
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
How to exercise rights
To submit a privacy request, contact support@vizionlyst.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We aim to respond within forty-five (45) days where that timeline is required by applicable law. If we need more time, we will let you know.
To opt out of targeted advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, or sharing where applicable, contact us with the subject line "Privacy Opt-Out." If we deny a request and your law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by contacting us with the subject line "Privacy Rights Appeal." Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification from you.
State privacy disclosure categories
For state privacy law disclosure purposes, the categories of personal information we may collect include identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity, approximate location, communications data, payment and subscription records, user-generated content, and inferences from usage or preferences. We use those categories for the purposes described in Section 2.
VizionLyst does not sell personal information for money. Some analytics measurement may be considered targeted advertising or sharing under some privacy laws. Optional analytics storage and consent-gated product and funnel measurement remain disabled unless you accept, and the footer control lets you reject or revoke that choice. The separate same-origin event dictionary, when enabled, is not sent wholesale to third parties. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing, securing, or improving the services unless legally permitted or required.
11. Children's Privacy
VizionLyst is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
12. International Use
VizionLyst is operated from the United States. If you access the website or services from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date. Continued use of the website or services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
